Billing procedures

Please see below our new billing procedures that have come into effect from 1st July. It is the first fee increase in 3 years and I hope you understand that rising costs of living have also impacted on business costs as well.

Bulk-billing applies to concession card holders and full-time students

• Please note that we include retinal photography and OCT scanning in the above fee schedule if required. There are no extra fees

• Contact lens fittings for first time wearers are not covered by Medicare and as a result there is no rebate available. The fee for this fitting is $72.

• If you have been seen by another optometrist in the past 3 years, Medicare will pay a reduced rebate.
